“The more of her music that emerges, the more you notice this defiant level of identity and style that is her sound and her writing style.” - Stereo Stickman, 2019

Tess Posner began singing in coffee-houses as a teenager. In 2017, her passion for music reignited and she began writing songs for the first time. Her music has been called “addictive, haunting and unapologetically honest” and is often inspired by experiences in her years as an activist and entrepreneur.

In 2018, Tess released her debut EP – One Thousand Petals – a well received project that introduced her sound and her values as an artist. She collaborated with producer Alicia Champion, producer and artist and recorded at Durga Sound studio in Oakland CA. Musically, Tess Posner brings together elements of inspiration from Tori Amos, Massive Attack, Portishead and Fiona Apple.

In 2019, Tess released several new singles and collaborated with producers Trey Vittetoe (Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry) and Sal Oliveri (P!nk, Carrie Underwood, Ryan Tedder). Her new projects received praise for their vocal performance, honest themes, and catchy melodies and won press coverage from the Girls at the Rock Show, Pop Dust, Vents Magazine, Rock Your Lyrics, Staccatofy, and the Digital Fix among others. She is releasing new material and planning a series of live shows in 2019.

Tess is also CEO of an international nonprofit organization focused on increasing diversity in the tech sector.
